Last.fm is one of my personal favorite websites and they are even more favorites because of their "Weekly Free Download Chart". You'd think on a free download chart they'd only have less than popular bands (which is not always a bad thing) or stuff you are interested in but that's not always the case with the list. To list a few from this week: Sufjan Stevens, Andrew Bird, Broken Social Scene, Yo La Tengo, The Mountain Goats, Jose Gonzalez, etc... Obviously there are some on there not near as good as the few listed above, but at least you get those and can try out others. Enjoy your free music without Big Al in the top bunk.
