Over this past weekend my wife and I watched Dan in Real Life. Good movie worth watching, especially with Steve Carell as a serious character, but less serious than in Little Miss Sunshine. One of the best things to extract from this movie is the soundtrack which is 99% written by, recorded by, sung by, played by Sondre Lerche. I'll post him in a separate post later on. The soundtrack is well worth listening to if not buying. I'm a big fan of this Sondre Lerche and I think most of you would be too. Very down to earth musician that plays some great upbeat but easy going indie music and has a great skill for songwriting. He's a very encapsulating artist, so much that when the music director for the movie gave the movie director a two disc sampling, he only listened to Sondre's music because he couldn't get past it. He refused to listen to anyone else and because of that he asked Sondre to do the soundtrack. If you watch the movie they have a feature on him in the bonus features. The songs Sondre writes for the movie are very fitting for every scene and really make the movie flow well. Give the soundtrack a listen, especially the "Modern Nature by Sondre Lerche and Lillian Samdal" track at the end of movie, and I'll post more on Sondre Lerche later.

lemme just say that i (and by i, i mean we, the wife and i, the royal dutch 'i' is we) really enjoyed dan in real life. and i also commented during the movie that the music was fantastic. cause it was. ascetically. not opinion. fact. it was good. like. when God created the universe. good like that. not good like in: tyler is good at pick up sticks.
