Mat Kearney is a fantastically unique artists. I've liked him for a long time now because of his mix of singing and spoken word rap, or whatever you might call it. He's great though.

A few days ago I heard Needtobreathe's "Shine On" on the radio...not sure if it's because I hadn't heard the radio in a while or because it just hit the radio...regardless it's great they are gaining popularity that's fully deserved.

OHHHH... I almost forgot 'As Tall As Lions.' They're stink'n amazing. The best band I've ever seen live.

for you peeps with kids. check out "terrible twos" its a side project by the lead singer of the "the new amsterdams" and the now defunct "the get up kids". terrible twos is so good.
