That guy was late for his own wedding when his beautiful bride called him in tears. Her dress, her glorious dress that she had been dreaming about since she was four was ripped at the hem (thanks to her high heeled shoe.) She was not walking down the aisle, not getting married at all with a rip. "Oh no!" he thought, so he ran to the store to find a sowing machine to fix it. Problem was, the store was all out of machines and waiting for a delivery. Just in the nick of time, up pulls the UPS truck. In his haste, the groom runs out of the store. The driver does not see him and swerves at the last second to avoid smashed groom. The truck ends up in a ditch, much to the driver's dismay. Not to worry though, because the groom climbs aboard, grabs a machine, and heads out--just in the nick of time. Every groom deserves to be his brides hero, her Knight in Shining Armor, if you will.
He was not driving on the sidewalk, he ended up there when he swerved to miss the groom. Besides, you have been married--those photographers follow you everywhere.

I'm glad he had a photographer with him.
